Personality : He isn’t the loudest in the group, but he will share his opinion on public matters. He is more reserved and knows when to fight and when not to fight. He loves music and plays. He can dance quite well. He is easy to get along with and loves to share a couple rounds of sake with friends. His focus increases on the battle field.

History: Takumi comes from a small, but honor driven family. His father strived to make as much crops for his family and neighbors as he could. They lived closer to Crystal Lake than Takumi’s current residence in Sky Village. The lack of drought allowed his family to survive. Upon becoming a teenager, Takumi was fed up with the way farmers had been treated by local bandits. He was determined to fight for those without voice. On his 16th birthday, he set off to the Sky Village to become a samurai, learn the art of the blade, and return to protect his family from the bandits. At the age of 21, he returned. His family was barely getting by and had recently been attack. His little brother was severally sick. They knew that the bandits would return before anyone could retrieve medicine. Takumi had a choice of either getting the medicine and abandoning his family while they hid his brother or staying to protect them and possibly leaving his brother’s survival up to chance. He parents begged him to leave, but he refused. The bandits arrived and stood no chance against the young samurai. Unfortunately, neither did his brother against the sickness. Tore apart that his brother had died, Takumi took the blame and returned to the Sky Village. He vowed to remain there and give his life to protect those of the village who could not protect themselves.

Additional Info:
-Bandits that attacked his family claimed to come from the Fire Field, so Takumi has a small grudge against the village.
-Although quite different in personality, Takumi looks up to Guardian Ryuu secretly.
-When drunk, Takumi becomes rather shy and acts like an embaressed child.
-He has no hometown, due to the fact his family's farm (along with neighboring farms) were located on unclaimed lands.
-He incorporates his style of sword fighting into his dance.
